Like they said, "There's no place like home!"

Also taken with the Rollei Plannar 80mm f/2.8 HFT.

This was taken when we were flying back from Bali. Boring flight so took out the Rollei Plannar 80mm f/2.8 HFT to play. Was lucky to be seated at the correct side of the plane by the window so got a few good shots.

Although pricey, this lens is actually very good. Too bad so little of them was made and as such, it's very difficult to find. What I would really like is to get the Nikon F mount focusing helicoid adaptor. With an additional Nikon F to Canon EF adaptor, I can use the legendary Plannar 80mm f/2.8 on the Canon 1Ds Mk2!!! The seach begins!

I may post a few more pictures from the flight later.

Cheers,

Ribbit!

Ribbit!, originally uploaded by benny ng.

There's really nothing much to do here in the resort here in Bali. Ended up shooting leaves and stone statues. Good thing is that they are patient and don't move! Don't you just love the bokeh on this lens?

Taken with my new toy Rollei Plannar 80mm f/2.8 HFT.

Cheers,
